No excuses not to write since I have my portable notebook everywhere I go...
Today I'm thinking about faith. A deep faith. People, general society seems to try to medicate everything, over care for everything. But there also is a concept that everything is as it should be - this includes will. The innate desire for self preservation causes us to create such guinea pigs of ourselves ... We tend to overlook what nature has already provided. Because we all tap into the same consciousness, we see trends spark every now and then. Lets make a simple life a trend, getting back to our roots. Try raw foods, try whole grains. I'm not going to say its a panacea, but it has been known to help people reverse negative health issues- all kinds - from mood disorders to physical diseases.... So the "faith" part is also to recognize and be okay with bad things that happen too. I remember a woman who was a perfectionist. She had cancer. Somehow she thought it was her fault. Now how is it we do these things to ourselves? Sometimes we must be forgiving... Always a new day to start new! She picked herself up and tried the new diet and continued to blame herself thinking she must be doing something's wrong, she even blamed herself for not emoting correctly. It was only when she let go of all that she was able to start to heal.
It's a complicated task.
Same with matters of the heart.... It's so easy to get lost in obsession or being loved or not being loved or creating fantasies of what love is...
The balance of it all and the letting go - the having faith (with an ounce of diligence too) is where it all happens. That magic. That love for yourself that you foster strength in before you can even begin to share it with anyone else.
Love your friends. Love your special one. Love your family. And love yourself.
That reminds me, a friend of mine also started an interesting blog. It's www.loveletterstoyourself.wordpress.com
